Wordle

Please view the photos and read how to make a Wordle.

1. Type Your Words in the Box and then Press Go!
  • Remember all you need is a space between each word: no commas!

2. Now Your Wordle is Created! But, Now it's Time to Personalize it!
  • Change the color of your Wordle by clicking the "Color" tab and then selecting the color you want.

  • Change the font of your Worlde by selecting the "Font" tab and then selecting the font you want.

  • Change the way your Wordle looks by selecting the "Layout" tab and then choosing how you want the words set up!

3. Once you are happy with your Wordle, please go to "File" and "Print" to print your Wordle and hand it to your School Library Media Specialist.


Trading Card

Please view the photos and read how to make your character trading card.

1. Please click the trading card website and press "Browse" to upload your drawing onto the trading card.
  • Remember that your drawing will be saved on the desktop as your first name followed by TC (for trading card.)

2. Now you are reading to select the theme for your card and may choose between any of the six.

3. Next, you will enter your character's information.
  • In the box called "Title" enter your character's name.
  • In the box called "Sub-Title" enter the book your character is from.
  • In the box called "Description" enter the information from your graphic organizer.

4. After you enter your character's information, you may select seven icons to display on your card to make it more authentic or real. Then press "Create" and in a matter of moments, your card will be made and open up on your computer!

5. Then you will press "Save" and save your trading card with your first name and TCC after it for (trading card complete.)

6. Once your card is saved on the desktop, please open it and print it to hand to your School Library Media Specialist to post on the bulletin board!


ALA Read Poster

Please read and view the instructions on how to make an ALA Read Poster.

1. Click the website and select browse to search for your picture on the computer.
  • Remember your pictures will be saved with your first name and last initial on the desktop.
    • Make sure you choose the right photo!

3. Next, you must choose if you want the poster to show the center, top/left or bottom/right of the photo you uploaded. Please select center fist! After, choose the style of the poster you would like and then add your name in the text box. When you are done, press "Create."

4. Once your poster is created, you will then press "Save."

  • Remember to then press "Save" again and name your file with your first name followed by ALA!
    • Example: JeanALA
      • You will be saving to the "Desktop."

5. Now that you have saved your poster, please print it and then hand it in to your School Library Media Specialist to hang up! You are an official Reading Role Model on your very own poster now! If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask for help.
